Golf Glove or No Glove? Which Feels Better with Your Winn Grip?

Golf glove — or no glove?

It’s a simple question, but every golfer may have a different answer.

If your golf grip already feels great in your hands, do you still need to wear a glove?

The answer really depends on you.

A Glove and a Grip Do Different Things

A golf glove and a golf grip aren’t necessarily designed to serve the same purpose.

Many golfers prefer wearing a glove because they like the familiar connection it creates between their hand and the club.

A glove can also feel especially comfortable during longer rounds or when playing conditions change.

But other golfers prefer the direct feel of the grip against their hands.

They enjoy experiencing the material, surface texture, and tackiness without an additional layer between their hand and the grip.

And that’s where the grip itself becomes interesting.

What Do Your Hands Actually Feel?

With a Winn polymer grip, the experience isn’t just about appearance.

Firmness.
Tackiness.
Surface texture.
Grip size.
Overall feel.

All of these characteristics contribute to what your hands experience when you hold the club.

A softer polymer feel may create a different sensation from a firmer grip.

A tackier surface may feel different from a smoother texture.

And changing grip size can change how the club feels in your hands.

That’s why there isn’t one setup that works for every golfer.

So… Glove or No Glove?

We’re not going to tell you:

“You have to wear a glove.”

And we’re not going to tell you:

“You don’t need one.”

Because your hands, your preferences, and your playing conditions are your own.

The better question is:

Which setup feels most natural when you hold the club?

Maybe you prefer the familiar feel of a glove.

Maybe you like the direct connection of your hand against the grip.

Or maybe you change your preference depending on the weather, the round, or simply how the grip feels that day.

There’s no single answer.

Feel it for yourself.
